High pressure builds across area waters today behind a departing cold front, remaining in control into Monday despite a weak backdoor front crossing the waters tonight. Then, a low pressure system will bring unsettled weather across the area Tuesday into Wednesday. High pressure builds in on Thursday before another low pressure system impacts us late in the week.
